The Hunter Chronicles

All the links on the left have content but not great quantities. All the short stories have full text available, and all the character pages have a little bit of information on them. The rest of them have generic filler content of some sort.

The Hunter Chronicles originally came out of a high school writing group and the challenge of re-writing classic story/fairy tales into more modern times, with a preference on a gothic twist added to them. The tale I ended up with was William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet... and the rest is history. From the first short story written for the group, it grew into a novel of short stories, then two. Eventually a planned sequel to the second novel was started, but that's where the tale went cold for several years.

Eventually the story was picked back up in 2002. During several re-readings, it was decided to completely restart and redo the entire tale from the beginning. The focus was shifted, plots were tightened, and characters were revamped... no pun intended. From the ruins of The du Prebeau Chronicles sprang forth The Hunter Chronicles.
